Resume check and JD Match: how they work and what they cost

Resume health check

There are two layers:

• Rule check: keyword coverage, missing fields, layout and length, checked against ATS rules. Free, unlimited, no credits. In the editor press Check on the toolbar (AI → Health Check on a phone). Without an account, use /check: paste your resume text or upload a PDF; the analysis runs in your browser and you get a five-axis score and an issue list in seconds.
• AI deep read: a Pro feature that uses 1 AI credit per run (3 with the advanced engine). Optionally enter a target job so the scoring follows that role; you get industry-fit and professionalism scores plus rewrite examples that quote your own lines, usually 5-8 of them. The last read stays in the check window so you can come back to it.

JD Match

JD Match on the editor toolbar (AI → JD Match on a phone); the overview is at /jd-match. JD Match is a Pro feature; the analysis and the one-click tailoring each use 1 AI credit (3 with the advanced engine).

1. Get the job description in: paste a job-post link to fetch it automatically (LinkedIn, Indeed and similar boards), or paste the text for sites that block fetching; you can also Upload a JD screenshot and have the text transcribed (transcription is free). The JD must be at least 30 characters.
2. Analyze: you get a match score, missing keywords and suggestions.
3. AI tailor my resume to this JD: the AI rewrites wording and aligns keywords, saved as a new resume named "<original> (<job> optimized)". Your original is never overwritten; every change is shown as a diff you can accept or reject one by one.

FAQ

Will the AI invent experience I don't have?

No. Companies, titles, dates, numbers and degrees are never changed; only the wording is. Every edit is shown in the diff for you to confirm.

Can free accounts use JD Match?

No. JD Match and the AI deep read are Pro features; the rule check is free. Upgrade from Upgrade to Pro in the account menu or at /pricing.

A credit was used but I got no result

Runs that produce no result are not charged. If your credit history shows a charge without a result, use Support → Talk to a human with the approximate time.
