Already have a PDF resume?
Upload once, AI structures it automatically
No more retyping your old resume word by word. AI reads the PDF text directly and detects education / work / projects / skills sections,
parsing multi-column layouts correctly — then switch between 100+ template styles anytime after import.
Text-based PDFs ≤5MB · scanned / image PDFs not supported yet
Three steps
Upload your PDF resume
From the homepage or dashboard, click "New resume → Upload PDF". Text-based PDFs ≤5MB are supported (WPS / Word / Pages / LaTeX exports all work). Scanned / image PDFs are not supported yet.
AI detects the sections
First a built-in PDF tool extracts the plain text, then AI sorts the content into education / work / projects / skills / campus experience sections, keeping facts (company / dates / degree) exactly as written.
Preview + tweak + save
Preview the parsed result first: edit titles, delete extra sections, fill in missing fields. Not happy with it? Just cancel — nothing is saved. Confirm only when it looks right, then save.
Why use PDF Import
Multi-column layouts parse too
A layout with personal info on the left and experience on the right often breaks when copy-pasted. AI reads the PDF text stream directly and reassembles by content meaning, aligning cross-column order automatically.
No credits charged on failure
Failed parsing / failed PDF reading never costs credits, so you can retry. If it still can't finish within 25 seconds it tells you clearly and suggests re-exporting with a PDF tool before trying again.
Switch templates anytime
After import, the resume stays structured data, so you can switch between 100+ template styles freely — unlike the original PDF, where even a color change means redoing it.
Your old resume is just sitting there — let AI turn it into an editable, structured version
FAQ
Which PDF formats are supported?▾
Text-based PDFs (exported from WPS / Word / Pages / LaTeX / Google Docs, etc.), up to 5MB. Scanned / photo-to-PDF files are not supported yet (those are essentially images that need OCR, which isn't integrated yet).
How accurate is the parsing?▾
Facts (company name / role / dates / degree / numbers) land in the matching fields straight from the PDF. AI may slightly adjust wording details (project descriptions, skill lists), so check against the original PDF in the preview.
Will parsing overwrite my existing resume?▾
No. The parsed result is saved as a new resume (its own id), leaving your existing resumes untouched. It's saved only after you confirm in the preview, and you can cancel before that.
How many AI credits does one import use?▾
It uses 1 AI credits (always the Standard engine, no automatic upgrade). If parsing fails / the PDF can't be read, no credits are charged and you can retry.
