LinkedIn's PDF isn't a resume
The "Save to PDF" export is a profile printout: a narrow sidebar, blue link text, page numbers, no control over what shows. Recruiters can tell — and ATS parsers stumble on it.
Sections land in the right place
Experience, Education, Skills (from "Top Skills"), Languages, Certifications and Honors are recognized and mapped to standard resume sections; the summary becomes a proper summary.
Your words stay yours

Where do I find the LinkedIn PDF export?▾
Open your own profile on LinkedIn (desktop works best). Under your name, click the "More" or "Resources" button, then "Save to PDF". LinkedIn downloads a file, usually called Profile.pdf. Upload that file here.
Is it free? Do I need an account?▾
Converting is free with no sign-up (daily per-IP limits apply). The editor also works without an account. Exporting the finished PDF or Word file uses a free account with starter export credit; paid plans export without limits.
What happens to the "Contact" box and page numbers?▾
They are removed. LinkedIn URLs, "(LinkedIn)" / "(Mobile)" labels and "Page 1 of 3" footers are dropped before parsing; your email and phone stay in the header if they were in the export.
My profile is long — will everything come through?▾
Profiles up to about 12,000 characters (three to four PDF pages) are handled in full. If yours is longer, the oldest roles may be trimmed — you can paste them back in the editor.
Can I do the same with Indeed or another profile PDF?▾
