Welcome to PrismResume, an online resume builder providing resume editing, AI-assisted writing, and PDF export. PrismResume is operated by an independent developer based in China (“PrismResume”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), and these Terms form an agreement between you and that operator. Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully. By registering, signing in, or otherwise using the service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
PrismResume provides:
PrismResume is a writing aid for job seekers working on their own resumes. Some features give you feedback and scores on your own materials to help you improve them, but these are for your own use only: PrismResume does not make hiring decisions, is never provided to employers, and is not an applicant-tracking or employer-side screening tool.
You may register and sign in using an email verification code or password. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, and you are responsible for losses arising from your own failure to do so. You may not transfer, lend, or otherwise allow others to use your account.
AI-generated content is provided as drafts and suggestions only. It is based on the input you provide, may be inaccurate or fabricated (“hallucinated”), and does not constitute professional, legal, or career advice.
You acknowledge and agree that:
PrismResume offers free features and paid upgrades. Paid services are processed through third-party payment providers.
Express consent. Before any subscription begins, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy at checkout; we do not pre-check any consent box.
Cancel anytime — no phone calls, no dark patterns. You can cancel a subscription at any time through the self-service billing portal provided by our payment provider, Creem (the link is included in the receipt emailed to you after each payment), without calling us or going through retention hurdles. This is designed to meet the easy-cancellation requirement of California AB-390. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Refunds. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on Pro plans (one refund per customer). This does not limit any non-waivable refund or withdrawal rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

The interface design, software, trademarks, and logos of PrismResume are our intellectual property and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without written permission. You retain ownership of the resume content you create on PrismResume.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. PrismResume makes no warranties regarding the suitability or success of generated content for any specific job application, applicant-tracking system (ATS), or jurisdiction. We do not warrant that your resume will be parsed correctly by any ATS or that it will result in any interview, offer, or other outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrismResume’s maximum aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid PrismResume in the three (3) months preceding the claim. PrismResume is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any employment, visa, immigration, or legal consequences arising from your use of generated content.
By accepting these Terms, you indemnify and hold harmless PrismResume from claims by third parties (including employers) arising from your resume content, including any claim that your content is inaccurate, untruthful, fabricated, or infringes the rights of others.
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in law or our operations. We will publish the revised version here or notify you by other reasonable means. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the People’s Republic of China, where the operator is based — except that, where the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country or state of residence give you stronger, non-waivable rights, those rights continue to apply. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably; please contact us at [email protected] before taking any other action. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
