Export & Download

Where is Export history? How long are files kept?

Updated

Every successful PDF export is recorded in Export history and kept for 7 days. During that window you can re-download it as many times as you like at no extra cost.

Where to find it

  • Desktop: open the resume editor → toolbar "···" button → "Export history";
  • Phone: open your resume → "Preview & Export" at the bottom → the file icon in the header; or the "Export history" item at the bottom of the AI menu.

What you can do there

  • Download: re-download any export from the last 7 days without spending a credit;
  • Re-generate: for failed or expired records, "Re-generate" rebuilds the file exactly as it was at export time (later edits to the resume don't affect it). It counts as a normal export — free for Pro members;
  • Delete: removes both the record and the stored file.

FAQ

Can I recover a file older than 7 days?

No — files are cleaned up after 7 days. If your resume hasn't changed, simply export again and you'll get an identical file.

Why aren't Word files in Export history?

Word exports are generated and downloaded instantly without being stored on the server, so they don't appear in history. Just click "Export Word" again whenever you need the file.

The download button does nothing on my phone?

If you opened the site inside another app (Facebook, Instagram, WeChat…), downloads are blocked by that app. Tapping "Download" will instead show you a link — copy it into your real browser. See Export succeeded but the file is nowhere on your phone?.
