Your current resume was built for the expectations of one market. Move to a different country, and the rules change: which sections matter, how long the document should be, what personal details to include, and even what counts as a valid achievement. Plan to rewrite at least 40% of the content and adjust the structure completely. The sections below explain the biggest differences market by market.
Changes made: “managed” → “supervised” (more common in UK job ads), “customer service representatives” → “customer service advisors” (standard UK title), and “features” → “updates” (matches specific UK posting vocabulary). The metric and achievement remain the same. The words shift to match local expectation.

No. One resume template will contain details that are unwelcome or missing in another market. Create a separate version for each target country and label them by market (e.g., “Master – UAE”).
Not always. Many markets accept English resumes for English-speaking roles. If the job description is in the local language, write the resume in that language. If the job description is in English, submit in English.
That depends on the market. In the UK, 2 pages is acceptable. In the US, aim for 2 pages. In Germany, 2 pages is standard. In Japan, 1 page is preferred even for senior candidates. Research the norm for your target country.
Do not include a full address. Use the city and country only, or leave it off entirely. A full address can cause recruiters to filter by location or assume you have not researched the job market.
